Montgomery Lee Merrell, doing business as CMI Financial, pled guilty to felony charges of selling unregistered securities and selling securities without being registered as a securities dealer on March 18, 2005 in the 297th District Court of Tarrant County, Texas, Cause No. 0818605D. Merrell received 10 years probation, a fine of $1,000 for each conviction, and was sentenced to 180 days confinement in the Tarrant County Jail.
