Cammie R. Booth: Indicted

Cammie R. Booth of Plano was indicted Sept. 22 in Collin County State District Court on one count of securing execution of document by deception and six counts of making false statements to obtain property or credit.

The indictment alleges that Booth made false statements to automobile dealerships in Plano. In order to purchase cars, from 2014 to 2016 Booth allegedly told employees of Mercedes Benz of Plano and Boardwalk Maserati and Boardwalk Ferrari in Plano that she was paid $135,000 a year as a co-pastor of Way of Grace Church in McKinney. Booth told the dealerships she had been employed as a co-paster for at least eight years.

Booth's husband, Timothy Booth, is a pastor at Way of Grace Church.
