As of Sept. 1, 2019, the $25 fee for filing or amending branch office filings was eliminated. Form BR filings will continue to be required to provide and update information on branch offices but will transition from a registration into a notice filing. Branch Certificates will no longer be issued. Instead branch offices must post the Firm's Certificate in the Texas branch office. Firms are still required to designate a supervisor for each branch office in Texas and branch offices in Texas remain subject to inspection.
