On August 14, 2000, John Colmant Rockett was sentenced to 51 months in prison followed by three years supervised release and ordered to pay restitution of $2,532.960. Rockett pled guilty to two counts of mail fraud and seven counts of interstate transportation of stolen property stemming from a fourteen count indictment. The indictment charged Rockett with defrauding investors who purchased interests offered and sold through Rockett's company, Pro-Tex Corporation.
