Dennis Keith Sanders: Guilty Pleas

On February 24, 2021, Dennis Keith Sanders, from Brenham, Texas, pleaded guilty to first degree securities fraud, theft, and money laundering. He was ordered to serve ten years of deferred adjudication community supervision, conditioned on his payment of more than $400,000 in restitution. The Securities Commissioner also entered an order against Sanders, barring further illegal securities sales.

The cases were heard in Brazos County District Court. They were prosecuted by the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office. Matthew Leslie, an Assistant Director of the TSSB Enforcement Division, and Kelsey Heaton, Enforcement Attorney, were appointed as special prosecutors for the cases.
