JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs entry-level administrative support for the Enforcement Division of the Texas State Securities Board.  Work involves maintaining filing systems, performing internal administrative support work for staff attorneys, financial examiners, and senior staff, scanning and copying voluminous records, and disseminating information internally as well as to the general public. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (License, Education, Experience):

Experience in clerical or administrative support work.  Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent is generally preferred.  Experience and education may be substituted for one another. Must be able to kneel, stand for significant periods of time, and move and lift up to 25 pounds.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures; skill in the use of standard office equipment and software; & ability to communicate effectively.
