JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs entry-level administrative support for the Enforcement Division of the Texas State Securities Board. Work involves maintaining filing systems, entering information in databases and spreadsheets, performing internal administrative support work for staff attorneys, financial examiners, and senior staff, disseminating information internally as well as to the general public and performing other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (License, Education, Experience):

Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures; skill in the use of standard office equipment and software and ability to communicate effectively.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Experience in clerical or administrative support work. Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent is generally preferred. Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
